I’m Kat Hartley, the artist behind Splodge & Sparkle Face Painting.
I create colourful, confidence‑boosting designs for children and adults, using professional products and a gentle, friendly approach.
As the maker behind Brierley Bears, I bring the same love of detail, creativity and warmth into every face I paint.
Every design is hand‑painted, tailored to the person in my chair, and created with high‑quality, skin‑safe products.

Are you insured?
Yes — I am fully insured and a proud member of BAPIA (The Balloon and Party Industry Alliance).
What products do you use?
Professional cosmetic‑grade face paints and glitters designed for skin.
They wash off easily with soap and water.
Who can be painted?
I paint children aged 3+ and adults.
I won’t paint over rashes, broken skin or anyone who seems unwell.
Where do you travel?
I’m based in Brierley and regularly cover Barnsley, Pontefract, Wakefield, Doncaster & Rotherham.
Other areas available on request.
